Rumination
So to the savvy music website reader you might be saying “okay this is a 9 month old album and it was self released, this is definitely shillposting/sponsored content”. But alas no this whole music thing remains deeply unprofitable for all involved.
However when a release comes across our desk that’s really fucking good, I’ll happily step up and talk about it. As is the case with this latest release from long running Greek Black Metallers Dizziness.
Spanning 34 minutes this release just fucking rips. Deeply vicious from start to finish, the sparse moments of pensiveness and levity are sparsely used (and when they are they sound fucking fantastic).
This album just ticks every box I have though. The riffs are sick, the vocals are sick, its relentless, its fresh sounding and its just deeply earnest. If you were a fan of the most recent Barshasketh album you 100 percent need to listen to this (I honestly think this album does a better job of that same idea).
Conclusion
This album came out of nowhere for me and turned out to be a deeply vicious and incredibly well put together release.
If anything has come from this it’s taught me that I need to start giving more time to Greek black metal bands (other than the obvious ones), I suggest all of our readers do the same.
BMZ Rating: 8,5 out of 10
