Inferno Metal Festival – First 15 exciting bands announced!

Inferno

Inferno Metal Festival is located in the busy capital city Oslo of Norway. The festival is focused on the extreme metal genres and takes place each year during easter. Inferno was founded in 2001 by former Borknagar guitarist Jens F. Ryland and the booking agency Radar Booking.

The Inferno Festival is held at two venues called Rockefeller and John Dee, which are located in the same building in the center of Oslo. As the festival only has one band playing at a time, attendees can enjoy all the bands they would like to see without missing any performances. The 2024 edition of the festival is scheduled to take place from March 28th to March 31st.

In addition to the music festival, the organizers also offer other activities for attendees. One of these is a black metal bus sightseeing tour hosted by Cadaver frontman Anders “Neddo” Odden. For those willing to pay, the tour takes participants to historic black metal locations around Oslo.

Inferno also hosts the Inferno Music Conference every year, which provides a platform for brands, media, and artists to expand their networks and stay updated on the latest developments in the metal industry.

On June 16th, 2023, the first 15 bands were announced for the 2024 lineup. These bands come from various countries and include both Norwegian and international acts. The genres represented typically fall within the extreme aspect of metal, such as black metal, death metal, doom metal, and thrash metal.
